The World Video Delivery Platforms package includes two deliverables:
1. A database: TV access data (2009-2018) for 30 countries, 5 regions and global aggregates. The dataset provides information on (digital) terrestrial, satellite, cable, IPTV and broadband (fixed and mobile) subscribers. Data on connected devices (TV set, STB, home consoles, Blu-ray, PVR, DMA/R, smartphones, tablets) are supplied for a selection of key markets along with regional aggregates.
2. A report which provides readers with the state of the art of video delivery platforms, exploring the market's development up to 2018 by geographical area and by technology. It also provides an analysis of the global market, how new video consumption habits impact distribution, the biggest challenges stakeholders are facing, technological developments and their impact on user interfaces and video consumption devices.
