Abstract
Power Management is an integral function in all of today¡¯s electronics systems, helping increase battery life, reduces energy consumption, and increase safety, in addition to other features. Power management includes both discrete semiconductors and analog integrated circuits. Product classes include power transistors, thyristors, rectifiers, linear regulators, switching regulators, supervisors, battery management, voltage references, and other power ICs.
This segment includes discrete and integrated circuit products that can be either digital or analog in nature. As a result of their ubiquity power management devices will remain one of the largest and fastest growing products in the semiconductor industry.
